Mudd-Ox ATVs are used across a broad range of areas from industrial, public sector to personal, and we offer a comprehensive range of accessories and options to support the following roles:
- Hunting and fishing – Mudd-Ox are dependable work horses that will get you in and out of the best hunting and fishing territories, without fuss and without damage
- Exploration – enabling ground access to some of the world’s most remote and extreme environments in support of mineral and natural resource exploration
- Power – access to power lines or remote facilities (transformers, switches, links, controllers, monitoring points) and carriage of tools /equipment in remote, difficult to access areas
- Water – access to remote catchment areas, water management micro hydro facilities, support to reservoir operations requiring flotation and operation across mixed challenging terrain including flood plains, tributaries – inspection and management. Management of protected habitats within catchment areas.
- Telecommunications – remote and isolated facility access; communications masts, towers, power systems and cables in remote areas and traversing dominant features or cross-cutting terrain features. Often the only viable solution short of helicopter access, Mudd-Ox readily meet this need, leaving other off road vehicles and UTVs behind
- Exploration – going where no one has gone before is likely to be a challenge. Getting there is only part of the job, providing best in class performance when there along with the means to get out, get home and report triumphs to eager sponsors are the other important bits. We have them covered.
- Forestry & Agriculture – Mudd-Ox ATVs support numerous roles in forestry management and agricultural environments in which conventional four-by-four or UTVs either cannot be used or cause excessive surface damage
- Environmental Management – Well suited for use in sensitive areas (National Parks, sites of special scientific interest and nature reserves) in which the very low ground pressure of the Mudd-Ox ATV minimise or completely avoid damage to the environment

Mudd-Ox Fort Mac
The Mudd-Ox Fort Mac is the end product of many years of vigorous testing in the oil fields in Fort McMurray, Canada. It’s our fully industrial, high duty cycle soldier. An 85 hp Ford gasoline engine provides necessary power to pull heavy loads. A heavy duty cooling system is mounted to the roll bar to ensure operators can drive the vehicle for many hours at a time. We are redefining the capabilities of amphibious vehicles.
Fort Mac drives just like our XL model with the same precision controls, however this utilizes four individual hydraulic wheel motors. One motor is mounted per each corner wheel. Center wheels are idlers for the tracks, meaning the drivetrain is setup just like a military tank. Users must always use tracks on the Fort Mac – just like a tank.
Mudd-Ox Vengeance
Chassis
- Each component on the frame has been designed with strength in mind. Critical components such as the winch and rear hitch receiver are mounted directly to the frame.
- Maintenance is important, and we strive to make it as easy as possible. All components are mounted using weld nuts on the frame, meaning only a single wrench is required for tightening or loosening a bolt.
- Vengeance utilizes the same 1.500″ solid steel axles as our XL model. Both single and twin chains are available.
T-20 Transmission
The importance of full-time, non-differential, six-wheel drive cannot be overstated, key benefits include:
- Full-time drive to all wheels regardless of the surface traction on each wheel – all wheels drive whether any or all of them are on mud, snow, ice or fresh air.
- No uncontrolled transfer of power between driver and passenger side wheel sets – a feature that results in “self-steering” in difficult conditions with lesser vehicles.
- No torque loss when steering – differential steering results in a 50% torque loss when steering, requiring a low gear range to compensate and poor low-speed agility. Smooth, gentle turns are achieved.
- Low shock loading of the drive train – unlike differential steering which doubles the speed to the drive train whenever steering is occurring.
Mudd-Ox XL
Hydrostatic Drivetrain
- Precision control – Hydrostatic allows users to control the vehicle with unmatched precision. There are two hydraulic motors, one per side of the vehicle. Each one is independently controlled, allowing operators to maneuver with ease in harsh trail conditions. You can literally thread a needle.
- Zero shifting – That’s right. Simply move each lever forward to go forward, pull back for reverse.
- Pure Torque – There is no loss of traction or torque when steering.
Steering Wheel Controls
Our goal is to have a diverse range of products that meets everyone’s needs. If the traditional dual steering levers will not work for your application, we offer an automotive style steering wheel with gas and brake pedal. This is an excellent option for rental fleets or operators with disabilities.
Our mission is very simple and just as obvious: to allow you to enjoy our products with family and friends.
We understand that every moment spent on the water brings you closer to happiness, and we work daily to offer you a more than perfect product. Our corporate values are deeply rooted in our services, our products and our team. Customer satisfaction comes first 100%, as do the quality and durability of our products.
